About Longmont Garden Community
Our mission is to connect local gardeners, support the establishment of successful home gardens, establish food and plant networks, and support a diversity of organisms thus creating a micro grid of local, living ecosystems.

What we do:
- Establishing home gardens and helping others meet their personal needs
- Connecting gardeners
- Establishing food networks (sharing food, bartering, doing garden work together, sharing resources/tools)
- Establishing shared seed/plant networks
- Problem solving local garden issues (pests, weeds, garden zone/ideal growing, poor soil, water…)
- Turning the yard/community into a living ecosystem
- Decentralized food procurement: Instead of getting most food from distant suppliers (large commercial systems), we grow and source it locally through a connected network of gardens, neighbors, and small producers who share, barter, and support one another.
